WEEKEND WORKSHOPS & DANCES
A Friday night lesson & dance; three fabulous 2-Hour Sessions on Sat & Sun, plus a Sunday night lesson & mixed variety "Cheek to Cheek" dance at Om Culture!
LEVELS FOR CLASSES: "Beg, Int, Adv" -- The Friday and Sunday pre-dance lessons will be beginning level and will introduce the steps we will be blending into our Sat & Sun int/adv level workshops. The Sat & Sun morning/afternoon workshops will be non-novice int/adv level and will quickly review all the basics but move faster than a beginning class.
All classes, workshops, and dances will be at Om Culture (see address below), except for the Sat night dance at the Leif Erikson

Pre-Dance Lesson: "Swing Your Tail Like a Fox!!"
TIME: 7:30 - 8:00pm
Learn the basics of Foxtrot, plus some fun swivel moves that we will be blending with swing in Saturday's "Swingin' it like Oktoberfest" workshop. Perfect for beg/int level
"Fabulous Friday Mixed Dance & Late Night Lyric Session" featuring music from around the world!
TIME: 8:00 - 10:00pm, 10:00-11:30+PM
Join us for a fabulous mix of toe-tapping tunes and wonderful new music that Ari has collected from his recent travels throughout Europe & Israel -- swing, waltz, blues, WCS, NC2S, ballroom, Latin, and more! The mixed variety session runs from 8-10pm. After that we lower the lights and ease into our more lyrical set that's perfect for blues, fusion, NC2S, tango, WCS, and more -- lovely, relaxing, inspiring :)
THEME: Blending Dance Styles!
SESSION 1: "Swingin' it like Oktoberfest!" Workshop
TIME: 3:30-5:30pm (Doors open at 3:15pm)
Learn some fabulous new swing moves that Ari is bringing back from Europe for your dancing pleasure! Ari taught at this years Lindy Exchange in Munich for Oktoberfest and he and Jodi will be recreating moves introduced there -- Not to be missed! Perfect for non-novice beg/int level dancers. THEME: Blending Dance Styles!
SESSION 2: Night Club 2-Step with an International Flair!
TIME: 10:00am-12:00pm
Learn some fun new NC2S moves and combinations that Ari recently taught in Europe which celebrate and integrate a variety of international dance styles - beautiful, flowing, and elegant as always. SESSION 3: New Waltzes from the Rhineland!
TIME: 1:00-3:00pm
Learn some fun international folk-waltz patterns that are commonly danced in Germany and Austria today! These playful combinations can be easily incorporated into your regular waltz repertoire, adding some lovely garnishes to the elegant and flowing moves you do today.
